If you want a clean and healthy air duct system in your home, the entire system must be cleaned end-to-end. We use high-powered external duct vacuums, pressure hoses, and cleaning tools to ensure a thorough job. HOW WE CLEAN YOUR DUCTS:

  1. A strong vacuum system will be attached to the supply side of your furnace plenum, then the return side.
  2. Your heating system is separated into two zones, “supply” and “return,” and the air filter is removed (as a result, the vacuum can work more effectively, resulting in better suction throughout the entire system).
  3. All supply registers and return ducts are sealed to create a strong suction.
  4. A single register is opened, and a compressed air (175 psi) snake/whip is used to “compress air wash” the entire supply duct length while the vacuum pulls the dislodged debris out of the system. Several cleaning heads are used to ensure that the entire duct gets cleaned. The register is then resealed, and the process is repeated on all the registers in the system.
  5. The “trunk line” (the main duct attached to all the supply lines) is cleaned using the same process.
  6. Furnace filters are reinstalled after cleaning, all registers are unsealed, and zone separators are removed along with the vacuums from the plenum.
  7. If desired, Sanitizing Air Ducts are applied using an atomizer at each supply branch and fogged throughout the ductwork. We use a selection of products, which, upon application, eliminate odors at their source through a chlorine dioxide release process that destroys organisms at the origin. Our chosen products are registered with the EPA, safe, and low in toxicity, and they do not contain any perfumes or cover-up scents; they prevent the growth of organisms that cause odors, as well as those linked to mold, mildew, and bacteria in the air and HVAC systems.
